How it works

A decision sheet, not a listicle

Daytripo sits between the ready itinerary and the booking. You already have flights and a hotel. What is left is deciding what to do with one or two free days. We answer that, destination by destination, with numbers and sources.

Where the numbers come from

Travel time and frequency

official site of the train or bus operator or, where it has no page to cite, the source named next to the number

Opening hours and closed days

official site of the attraction

Tour price and rating

partner catalogue, checked in the page's language

Date of last check

shown on every sheet

The four verdicts

Worth a full day

The place fills a day and is comfortable to do on your own or with a tour.

Worth half a day

Two to four hours on site are enough. Pair it with something else or be back for the afternoon.

Only with a tour

No practical public transport, or the sights are too far apart. Without a tour or a car it does not work.

Better to sleep there

Too far or too big for a same-day return to be pleasant. Stay a night, or take the tour if you cannot.

Rules for every recommendation

01Only tours that match the exact route of the page. No tour, no button.
02When more than one tour fits, the first one shown is the better reviewed or the closer match to the route.
03Links go straight to the tour page, never to a search page or a home page.
04One tour partner per page.

When a field is blank

If we could not confirm a number on an official source, the field says so. We would rather publish a sheet with a gap than fill it with a guess. Prices and timetables change: every sheet carries the date of its last check, and the source link next to each number lets you confirm it yourself.

About the images

Photos on Daytripo are illustrative, and part of them was generated with AI from the real landmark. They show what the place looks like, not the exact view you will get on the day.
